Equipment
Your main goal will be to find equipment that increases your damage, e.g.

Skill Damage
Skill Amp %
True Damage
Armor Penetration
Attack
Critical Rate

Survivability can be an issue for Mediators, and you will mostly get around this by learning when to dodge and which attacks to use in certain situations. However, if you like, you can also find equipment with effects like Dodge Rate and Resistance.

TIP: Enhancing your equipment, while it can be costly, is always a good idea.

Some combos you may like to use, if you aren’t already:

Disabling Combo (Freeze and Stun): Frozen Thorn – Blink & Frozen Road – Rock Spine & Rock Hammer

AoE Combo: Frozen Thorn – Dark Sanctuary & Cryptic Elemental – Thunder Cloud & Lightning Conduct – Rock Spine & Rock Hammer – Lightning Balloon & Lightning Star

Grouping Up Combo: Frost Thorn – Ground Fist – Dark Touch & Holy Upper

Escape Combo: Frost Thorn – Dash – Blink & Frozen Road (repeat as necessary)

Push Enemies Away Combo: Any combination of Fire Ball & Triple Fire Ball, Lightning Balloon & Lightning Star and Basic Attack

Mediator Skills

Pre level 19 is a nice time to mess around with your early skills, to see what you like and what you don’t, as you get a reset at your level 19/20 class change.

You also get a reset at your 39/40 class change so no need to worry if you don’t like your skills at 20-39.

COMBO ATTACKS AND SKILLS

Fire Ball & Triple Fire Ball
Shoots balls of fire, and a flame wall at Rank 2
Pros: Long range, pushes most enemies backwards, very shot cooldown
Cons: Pushing mobs backwards can interfere with party members attacking
Suggested: No points, leave at Rank 1.

Rock Spine & Rock Hammer
Throws enemies into the air and stuns them
Pros: Can choose exactly where you want the hits to land, disrupts attacks
Cons: Cannot alter location for the second hit
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like. Being able to stun enemies can be extremely useful.

Blink & Frozen Road
Blinks backwards then shoots a line of lice in front of you, freezing enemies
Pro: Great for avoiding attacks and disabling enemies momentarialy
Suggested: At least 2, then add more as you like.

Lightning Balloon & Lightning Star
Shoots a large ball of lightning then shoots multiple small balls of lightning
Pros: Pushes enemies backwards, hits many times
Cons: Pushing mobs backwards can interfere with party members attacking
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like.

Dark Touch & Holy Upper
Sucks enemies in then throws them into the air
Pros: Good for sucking enemies into AoEs and disrupting them
Cons: Throwing enemies into the air can interfere with party members attacking
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like.

Summon Bomb Spider & Dark Plant
Summons a spider that will follow enemies and detonate, then summons a dark plant
Pros: Damage you can just place down and not worry about
Cons: Spiders often cannot hit enemies that move too much, both spiders and plants are easily killed
Suggested: No points

Dark Sanctuary & Cryptic Elemental
Summons an AoE of dark pillars that damage enemies while standing on them (must be standing directly on a pillar), then floating souls to deal AoE damage to all enemies in the vicinity.
Pros: Largeish AoE, easy to keep enemies inside, great crowd control, Cryptic Elemental can hit flying enemies.
Cons: May be awkward to place at times
Suggested: At least one point, then add more as you like.  One of the skills I would personally suggest to max.

Thunder Cloud & Lightning Conduct
Summons a cloud that shoots lightning down then summons lightning on the ground
Pros: Can control exact placement, large AoE, disrupts enemies by making them flinch, great for hitting flying enemies, great crowd control
Cons: Only strikes enemies directly under each lightning strike
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like.

Ultimate: Devildom Overdrive, Abyss Column & Arcane Nova
Summons a dark tornado, dark pillarsand lightning
Pros: Can control exact placement, large AoE, high damage
Cons: Requires you to stand still to cast more parts, uses crystals
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like.

HARMONIZER SKILLS

Summon Raccoon Guard
Summons a Raccoon Guard with a duration of 30 seconds.  Attacks enemies with stun, bind and AoE skills.
Pros: Awesome tank, will take enemies attention/aggro if sent in first, lots of disabling moves.
Cons: Will sometimes run into walls and stay there depending on where you are when you summon it – there must be a straight, clear path to the enemies you want it to attack.  Uses crystals.
Suggested: At least 2 points, then add more as you like – especially if you like to solo.

Ultimate: Entropy Cycle & Pion Flare
Rapidly spin in the air, pulling enemies towards you, then shoot out dark and light energy – both moves can stun.
Pros: Stuns and can hit flying enemies.
Cons: Uses crystals, and draws enemies towards you – if it doesn’t stun them, this can get you into trouble.
Suggested: At least 2 points if you personally like the skill, otherwise none.  It’s not any more useful than most other skills.  Though it is a better stunning move than Rock Hammer, it’s stun chance seems to be slightly lower (though I could be wrong here).

SINGLE SKILLS

Frozen Thorn
Summons a small row of ice thorns in front of you
Pros: Enemies will be damaged by walking into it, nice if you need to slow them down to escape, stays on the ground for a decent amount of time
Cons: Long cool time
Suggested: At least one point, then add more as you like

Cold Evasion
While getting hit, shoots cold energy out to freeze enemies
Pros: Survivability
Cons: Only usable while being hit, which is not something you want to rely on
Suggested: One or no points

Aero Move
Move backwards while jumping, damages enemies
Pros: More movability
Cons: Must be jumping to use, small range
Suggested: One or no points

Ground Fist
Summons a giant hand to hit enemies twice
Pros: Great for grouping up enemies and disrupting them
Cons: Low range
Suggested: At least one point

BUFF SKILLS

Synergy Effect
Increases Attack by a set amount
Duration 600 seconds
Pro: Increased Attack affects all skills
Con: Can get the same or more Attack from one Magic Stone
Suggested: One point

Shoots fireballs below you while jumping
Pro: Can attack enemies from above, lets you stay in the air for longer than a regular jump
Con: Can be difficult to aim, must be in the air to use
Suggested: No points

Dash Attack
Attacks after dashing
Pro: Ends with you jumping back in the air, good for avoidability
Con: Close range
Suggested: No points

TRANSFORMATION SKILL
Skills to be used when you transform into Elemental Arch Angel
Pro: Huge AoE, high damage
Con: Cannot move while casting for quite a long time, to do the full combo
Suggested: No points

WEAPON MASTERY

Staff Mastery
Increases Accuracy when using staves
Pro: Increased Accuracy affects all attacks
Con: Can get the same or more Accuracy from equipment and Magic Stones
Suggested: No points

Wand Mastery
Increases Attack Speed and Casting Speed
Pro: Increased Attack Speed and Casting Speed
Con: Attack Speed does not apply to skills, and only increases by a small percentage
Suggested: No points

ARMOR MASTERY

Fabric Mastery of Calmness
Increases MP for each piece of Fabric armor you have equipped
Pro: More MP
Con: Only increases by a small amount
Suggested: No points

Fabric Mastery of Concentration
Increases resistance to bad status effects like stun, freeze and confusion
Pro: Higher resistance to bad status effects
Con: Only increases by a small percentage, and will not greatly affect survivability
Suggested: No points

Magic Mastery of Characteristics
Permanently increases Attack
Pro: Increased Attack affects all skills
Con: Can get the same or more Attack from one Magic Stone
Suggested: One point
